• Students received their invitation to the Annual TOURNAMENT OF EXTINCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Link to invitation HERE!

• We then watched an introductory movie giving a broad overview of the Tournament of extinction! 

• Students then learned about the criterion and requirements of the tournament. These requirements (and the assignment) have been delivered to each student via google classroom (called Tournament of Ext STUDENT TEMPLATE.

Tournament of Extinction Overview

For this project you will draw an individual organism of your species and then complete a data table describing your animal’s adaptations and the reasons for those adaptations. Good luck and may nature be ever in your favor!!

You must---

• Have 1-3 adaptations for each category listed below!

• Have a hand drawn, color picture of your creature (insert image into your doc)!

• Be as specific and detailed as possible! If it’s NOT ON YOUR DOC, IT DOESN’T COUNT!!!
• NO magic of any kind! If it ain’t in nature, it ain’t in your species!!
• NO human ANYTHING!
• NO water bear/Tardigrade--- ANYTHING!!!

• Students worked on the following today in order to review for the NERVOUS SYSTEM TEST, which is FRIDAY MARCH 11 !!!
• Nervous system review guide delivered in google classroom
• a notecard, that contains important content from the review guide that you can use during the test Friday!!

• TUESDAY---Students worked on a collaborative google slide presentation, reviewing the nervous system stations we worked on for 3 days. 
• This assignment w/directions and links has been sent via google classroom!
• WEDNESDAY- Students presented their slide to the class!!
• HW- NERVOUS SYSTEM TEST FRIDAY, 3/11 !!!!!! Make sure these items are DONE by Friday:
