SCIENCE---

• Warm-up- we looked at images exploiting the BLIND SPOT that we all possess.
• Blind spot- the spot on the retina where there are NO photo-receptors, therefore it does not detect light or an image, it's also where the optic nerve attaches to the eyeball!!
• We then watched a short episode of BRAIN GAMES- "Seeing is Believing!"

SCIENCE----

• Students finished the NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDER research that was delivered via google classroom!
• Students then BEGAN working on the Brain Games doc sent to them in google classroom! DO NOT turn this in YET, we will finish Monday after the break!!
• HW- have fun and enjoy your winter break! Get OUTSIDE and enjoy!!!

• Today, we did a super cool BLOOD FLOW WALK!!
• Students rotated roles of -

1. pacemaker-( lub-dub)
2. valves- (open/close)
3. wbc-  (fight infection)
4. rbc (carry oxygen and rid of carbon dioxide)
5. platelets-  (clotting)
6. plasma-all remaining students (pick-up glucose from small int and waste out to kidneys)
7. HW- there will be a quiz on BLOOD FLOW, Tuesday or Wednesday-Feb 9 or Feb 10---stay tuned!!!

SCIENCE--

• WEDNESDAY---Students worked on a collaborative google slide presentation, reviewing the cardio stations we worked on for 4 days. 
• This assignment w/directions and links has been sent via google classroom!
• THURSDAY- Students presented their slide to the class!!
